The LinkedIn for sports! - especially mountain sports. Linkup Point is the sports and recreation network for finding partners, mentors, groups, trips, guides, and expertise. With over 80 sports and recreational activities, you can find the activities you love and connect with that community. Forget having an app for every sport you do – Linkup Point is broad enough to have them all, but detailed enough to cater to the needs of each one. Whether youre into rock climbing, ice climbing, ski mountaineering, splitboarding, hiking, or any sport- this will help you connect with the right people and get out doing it with others. Our platform is also at www.linkup-point.com - so connect on the app, or from the connected website where it’s even easier to build a great detailed profile.

Your profile becomes your detailed sports resume (good even for pros). You can then search to find partners, mentors, guides, and pros. The Partner Finder can be used for a simple search for others, or a very advanced search to find exactly the right people. Search by sport, style, skill, fitness, experience, certifications, accomplishments, and mentor/amateur/coach/pro status, among others. Then use the messenger to reach out, coordinate, and get out recreating!

Then check out the Sports Feed. This is the activity feed – the place to see what’s going on across the Linkup Point community. Find trip and event announcements, trip reports, photos and videos, discussions, and people sharing in the community. This is like Facebook but different because our platform and community is intentionally built from the ground up for sports. Our community is filled with open people willing to share useful information, and invites to trips and events. It’s about sharing, learning, participating, and progressing.

Then check out our sports groups – from generic to very specific. Find the specific sports community you’re looking for and get involved. This is your online sports community.

If you’re looking for trips and events to join, then checkout the Trips and Events page and browse, or search by sport, location, and dates. Or if you’re up to it – create a trip or event yourself and meet new people by organizing and leading.

Linkup Point is way more than an app – we’re a mission focused Public Benefit Company, and our community is a movement! Our mission is to increase participation and progression in sports and recreation, and to support stewardship of recreational places. We’re proud partners of organizations like the Access Fund – an organization dedicated to gaining and maintaining climbing access and stewardship of climbing areas. We’re sports fanatics ourselves. We created this so we could use, our friends could use it, and everyone could use it. We hope this will be an effective tool and a positive influence on people’s quality of life and health.
